Pilipino Workers Center cordially invites you to TOWARDS FREEDOM: Filipino American Anti-Human Trafficking Summit 2019, a FREE two-day conference on September 12 -13, 2019 from 9:00 am - 5:00pm and a Reception at 6:00pm on Thursday, September 12. The Summit will be held at St. Paul's Commons Retreat and Conference Center located on 840 Echo Park Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90026.
We are bringing together human trafficking survivors, community-based organizations, law enforcement and consular officers, immigration attorneys, and advocates to discuss current trends and efforts relating to anti-trafficking work in the Filipino American community.
Panel discussions will include Survivor Narratives of Hope and Resilience, Finding Solutions in the Midst of Hostility, and more. The second day of the summit will also include the opportunity to participate in healing workshops and the launching of a national campaign to abolish human trafficking of Filipinos in the United States.
